For the Chicken

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Sauce

  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

For Garnish

  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Extra Parmesan cheese

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Season the Chicken
    Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.
  2. Sear the Chicken
    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook the Bacon
    In the same skillet, add chopped bacon. Cook until crispy.
    Remove bacon and place on paper towels, leaving the drippings in the pan.
  4. Make the Garlic Sauce
    Add minced garlic to the bacon drippings. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
    Pour in chicken broth and cream. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Add the Parmesan
    Reduce heat to low. Stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
    Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Combine Everything
    Return chicken to the skillet. Spoon sauce over the chicken.
    Sprinkle crispy bacon on top.
  7. Finish Cooking
    Cover and simmer for 8–10 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
  8. Garnish & Serve
    Top with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
