  • 1 bag (about 30 oz) frozen shredded hashbrowns, thawed
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 cup crushed cornflakes or Ritz crackers (for topping, optional)

  5. Bake – Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 20–25 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
